Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER JOHN HARROP Peacefully on June 24, 2009 at the Betel Home in Gimli, Pete Harrop, aged 76 years, of Camp Morton, Mb., passed away with wife Joyce and special angels Valerie, Betty and Shawna at his side. Pete is survived by wife and best friend, Joyce; stepsons Rob (Sharon), Jim and Keith (Marti); sons Brent and Tab; daughters Cam and Kimberley and many grandchildren. He was born on June 20, 1933 in West Ham, England and came to Canada via Aquitania in 1946. He was an electrician by trade and had worked for Kummen Shipman, Comstock, Freshwater Institute, M.S. Lord Selkirk, Lake Agassiz Marine and Hecla Island Resort. In accordance with Pete's wishes no formal service will be held. Pete's request was that you raise your glass in memory . Free from pain you can now run barefoot through a field of daisies with your many pets at your side. Special thanks to the following angels among us for their love, care and support: Betel Home, Gimli; Tudor Home, Selkirk; Gimli Home Care; Caregiver's Support Group; Gimli Community Hospital; Dr. J. Johnston and Erin at CancerCare; Dr. R. Gera; Palliative Care Support Staff; Marshall and Verna Blais and many close friends. Til we meet again, my love.
