Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL NELLIE (SCAMMEL) REID October 13, 1914 - June 23, 2009 Peacefully on June 23, 2009 our Mom passed away at Vista Park Lodge in her 95th year. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Muriel (Marler) and Marilyn of Victoria, BC, Bill and Barbara (Paul) in Winnipeg, sisters Florence, Violet, Marjorie and brother Arthur, 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Orville in 1955, brother Ernest, sisters Gladys and Daisy. Many thanks to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for taking good care of her these past five years. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service, as a private family gathering will be held at a later date. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550

I am one of the daughters of her brother Arthur who passed away Nov 26, 2012. Sorry to hear of her passing. Dad and mom (Joan who passed way this past week) were divorced back in 1988. Unfortunately dad had very little contact with the rest of his family after he remarried.
