KARL MAILAN 1986 - 2009 After a lengthy illness, Karl passed away at Health Sciences Centre, with his loving family at his side, at the age of 23. He will be missed by his father Narding, his mother Loni, sister Kaila and younger brother Kier. Karl was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1996. Karl graduated from Maples Collegiate and continued his education, developing his technical skills. Karl enjoyed working at Doray Enterprises Inc., where he was well known and loved by all who had the pleasure of working with him. Karl was known as a courteous, respectful and friendly guy. Lamay services will take place at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Saturday, July 4, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m., Monday July 6, 2009, at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin Street with interment and reception to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
