GUY GEORGE THERRIEN May 22, 1935 - June 24, 2009 Passed away at the age of 74 years old with loved ones by his side. Guy will always be alive in the hearts of his wife Margaret of 52 years, his brother Roland (Loraine) of BC and his sister Laurette (Norman) of Winnipeg. Also mourning his loss are his children Rick (Joanne), Debbie (Randy), Janice, Wayne (Jean) and Cheryl (Chris). His 18 grandchildren will always remember grandpa's sense of humour and his smile. Two great-grandchildren know that silly papa is in a better place. Also missing him is his brother in law Robert (Gayle), sister-in-law Dora, along with cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Guy received a double lung transplant 14 years, which extended his life with us, for that we are truly thankful to Dr. Kepron and the staff of the transplant team. Due to a stroke two years ago dad spent his last days at River Park Gardens PCH. A great big THANK YOU to all the staff there who made our father's stay comfortable. Cremation has taken place with a service to be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on July 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made to the Lung Association or River Park Gardens PCH in honour of our father.
