DORIS IRENE BARLOW (nee STODGELL) Doris passed peacefully on May 21, 2009 in the Chilliwack General Hospital after a lengthy, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born on August 28, 1917 in Fisherton, Manitoba and lived much of her life in Winnipeg. She and her husband moved to Chilliwack, BC in 1978. Predeceased by her husband Glenn, Doris leaves behind her daughters Glenda Berg and Sylvia Walsh; sons-in-law Len and Frank; and grandchildren Glenn, Jason, Melanie and Michael, as well as great-grandchildren Rachelle, Ryan, Kerry, and Alexander, all of whom loved her dearly. A kind, gracious, and active lady, Doris will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. Internment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in BC next to her husband Glenn.
