ANNA T. ZUKOWSKI Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the age of 82. Survived by her son Ron (Naomi) Zukowski of Kelowna; granddaughter Jordyn Smith; brothers Kazimierz Melka and Stanislaw Melka; sisters Maria Werstler and Genowefa Pietruszka and numerous nieces and nephews all from Poland. Sadly predeceased by her husband Frank Zukowski in 1979. Anna moved to Canada shortly after the Second World War and lived for a short time in Brantford, ON before moving and settling in Winnipeg, MB. She met her husband Frank in Winnipeg where she lived until 2006 and then moved to Kelowna to be near her son. She also leaves to mourn many friends in Winnipeg and was a longtime member of the Polish Legion at Club #13 SPK. Also special thanks to all who cared for Mom, especially the crew at Windsor Manor. Thank you. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
