January 31, 1961 - June 26, 2009 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Morris Ettiene McKay Jr., husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle and friend. Morris passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 48 on June 26, 2009. He is survived by his beautiful wife and best friend Lorraine; his sons, Christopher, Shayne, Cory, Lance and daughter Chantelle. Also by his eight precious grandchildren, especially Joshua, whom he loved and raised as his own son. He is further survived by his mom Therese McKay and his sisters Elaine, Cecilia and Leah, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. Morris was predeceased by his younger brother Rosaire McKay and his dad Morris McKay Sr. A wake service has been planned for Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday July 1 at 3:00 p.m. at O.N.R. School in Cross Lake, MB. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship church in Cross Lake, MB. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 204-778-7982.
