NATALIE BONI (nee MARKEWICH) Peacefully at her residence Natalie passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 80. Her husband Paul Sr. predeceased her, one sister Mary and by three brothers, Joseph, Nestor, and Roman. Two sisters Helen and Julia survive her. Her memory will be forever cherished by her three sons, Stephen, Paul Jr. (Jane), William (April), her grandchildren Alicia (Jason), Amanda, Garrett, Keaton, great-grandchildren Darren, Hannah. Natalie was born on a farm in Libau, MB. At a young age she moved to the BIG CITY, Winnipeg. There she met, fell in love with and married her husband Paul. They remained together for 58 years until his passing in 2006. Natalie will always be remembered for her warm hospitality to all who came to visit her home. In her youth she enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband and children. In 1970 the family relocated to Squamish, BC. Natalie missed her family and friends and returned to Winnipeg in 1987. In her later years she enjoyed looking after her flower gardens, going to bingo at Transcona Retired Citizens Club and the occasional trip to the casino. Funeral will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service.
