Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE MIRKA May 20, 1955 June 28, 2009 Peacefully on June 28, 2009 Bernice Mirka, after a long fight with cancer, passed away at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Bernice was predeceased by her mother Betty Carroll and is survived by her father Cecil Carroll; her husband Nick Mirka; sisters Jocelyn Pettigrew, Rachael (Paul) Lamirande, Terrie (Robert) McElmon, Kathleen (Jerry) Ducharme; children James (Frances), Trevor (David), Kevin (Farrah) and Christina; four grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. Donations in Bernice's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Manitoba.

You have always been in my life and you will always be in my heart. You were the most awsome foster mother that any kid could ask for.
