Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES ALLAN MACLEAN January 10, 1916 June 30, 2009 It is with great love and sorrow that the family announces the passing of Charles Allan MacLean. He is survived by his loving wife Emma Doris. Left with wonderful memories are his loving children, Diane (Garry) Paulson, R.D. (Debbie) MacLean, Susan (Ken) Harriott; and their grandchildren Shelley (Randy) Mabbott, Jeff (Jane) Paulson; Jennifer and Daniel MacLean; Angela (Kevin) Poetker and Tim Harriott (Kenora Athanaze) as well as great-grandchildren Paul Mabbott, Eric and Julia Paulson, Laura Powell and Payten Athanaze. He is also survived by his sister Dossie Harrison and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Marion and his brother Ross. Allan retired from Eaton's after 42 years of service. Allan enjoyed 25 winters in the Palm Springs area of southern California. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Manitoba Cancer Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Thanks to the doctors and nurses and staff at the Victoria General Hospital, Poseidon Care Centre and Deer Lodge Care Centre for their compassion and care. A funeral service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home on Saturday July 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Winnipeg Beach Cemetery.
