Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD JOHN MARTENS With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rick at his home on June 30, 2009. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jo-Ann, son Robert, daughter Nicole, mother Lena Dyck, husband Elmer, sister Kathy Friesen, husband Bruce, nieces Kristen and Danielle. Rick was predeceased by his father John and brother Gerry. Rick was an avid sports enthusiast who played a number of sports, watched TV sports and enjoyed country music. He loved and was loved in return by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Grace Mennonite Church in Brandon on July 4 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Canadian Diabetes.
