MARY BAILEY (WOLOSHEN) May 12, 1919 - June 30, 2009 Peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, Mary Bailey passed away at Oakview Place at the age of 90 years. Mary is lovingly remembered and cherished by her daughter Dorothy Bond, sons Alfred and Diane Bailey and William (Bill) and Janet Bailey; grandchildren Thomas (Janice), Phillip, Karen, Tanis (Malcolm), Christopher, Teresa, Catherine, eight great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Nellie Woloshen and Sadie McAuley and many special nieces, nephews, friends and Charleswood neighbours. Mary was predeceased by her parents, husband Harold, son Thomas, infant grandson Karl, sister Donna (Bill) Mills and brothers Basil, George (Gladys), Peter, Paul and Metro Woloshen. Mary was born and raised in the Clanwilliam municipality of Manitoba. Harold and Mary raised their family in Charleswood. Her heart was always with her family and friends, and her sense of fun and love of life are memories to be cherished. We rejoice that her courageous spirit is now with the Lord. Sincere appreciation is extended to everyone at Oakview Place who were always supportive, compassionate and caring. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. A reception will immediately follow the service.
