ROBERT CALVIN WRIGHT August 21, 1924 - July 2, 2009 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Robert (Bud) Wright at the age of 84. Bud passed away at the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn sons John (Arlette), Wayne, Richard (Wendy), grandchildren Victor (Sheila), Noella, Jeffery (Kirstin), Cody and Nicole, great-grandchildren Kyla , Aneleigh, and Caleb, also brothers James, Wilfred (Verna) sisters Frances and Eileen (Hughie) and many nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father James Archibald Wright and mother Mary Christina Hallett, brother John Burns Wright, Mable Bauder and Dorothy Rhuebottom. Bud loved the outdoors and spending time with grandchildren, nephews and nieces, friends and neighbors. Bud went overseas as a soldier at age 17. Returning after the war he made Mantagao Lake his home until 1970 when he moved his family to Fisherton. He resided there the rest of his life except the last two weeks he spent at the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home to which the family would like to sincerely thank for their exceptional care and support. Funeral services will be held by Fisher Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 7 at the Roman Catholic Church in Fisher Branch at 1:00 p.m. Paster James Thiessen presiding. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
