VICTOR BENCHARSKI Peacefully on July 3, 2009 at the age of 86, in Pinawa Hospital, with his family at his side, his journey was complete. He was predeceased by his wife Frances, two children, Beverly and Dale, son-in-law Ken and daughter-in-law Jannae. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Sylvia, Sharon, Adelene (George), Brian (Sharon), Allen (Lana), Raymond, Geraldine (Don), Garry (Karen), Maureen (Wendell), Anita (Tim), Kenny, Kevin, Bradley (Allison), 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom were his greatest joy. Dad was very proud of his professional driving career, retiring from Grey Goose bus lines in 1989. He received numerous awards for safe driving and a 3 million mile recognition. Our family would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to Dr. Spence and staff at the Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the service at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine's R.C. Parish in Whitemouth, Whitemouth Recreation Association or a charity of one's choice.
