MARIA OLIVIA COELHO July 28, 1929 July 8, 2009 Peacefully and suddenly in her home, Maria passed away on the morning of July 8, 2009 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the age of 79 years. She is predeceased by her parents Antonio and Maria Fernandes. Maria is survived by her loving husband Joao Coelho, daughter Maria Rodrigues (Jorge), grandchildren Kevin and Karla; son John (Maria), grandchildren Ashley, Carissa and Katlyn; sister Rosalina (Daniel); and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Maria enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren as well as spending her free time knitting and crocheting. We would like to thank her home care workers Helena and especially Carol for offering their wonderful care and support over the past few years. Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009 in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. with Very Reverend Father Jose Eduardo Medeiros presiding. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Saturday July 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. Very Reverend Father Jose Eduardo Medeiros celebrant. Interment in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street.
