GEOFFREY EARL MCCARTNEY With heavy hearts we sadly announce the sudden passing of Geoff on July 7, 2009 at his home in Regina, SK. Geoff was born October 10, 1953 in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his parents William George and Dorothy Evelyn. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 32 years, Jennifer; three dear children Melissa (Chris), Michelle (Kyla) and Matthew; and precious little grandson, Maddox. He will also be missed by his close companion, the family pet Tanner. Left to mourn are his brothers, George (Pat) and Ken (Virginia); nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends in Regina, Winnipeg, and Malachi. Geoff worked for many years in the financial industry, most recently with Faith Life Financial. His happiest times were spent with family and friends at the cottage in Malachi, ON. He will always be known as the man with a wealth of knowledge, an appreciation of music and nature, and a deep love for his family. A funeral service will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating. Interment will take place in Winnipeg at a later date. Geoff will always be missed and his memories held close in our hearts - husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
