WINNIFRED KATHLEEN MORCOM February 1915 - June 2009 Surrounded by the love of her family, Winnie passed away peacefully at West Park Manor in Winnipeg on June 30, 2009. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Harry (Caroline), Verna (Jim), Lynda (Joe), Shelley (Michael); nine grandchildren: Diane, David, Terrence, Kevin, Kyle, Shawn, Tracy, Shannon and Caelan; eight great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Danny, Paige, Carter, Braxton, Daegan, Amelie, and Samuel. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; two sons: Bert and Doug and infant grandson Richard Douglas. To mom family was everything and she made each one of us feel equally important. We are fortunate to have shared all the wonderful memories she made with us, any excuse to get together with family and friends was special to her. At her request a private family service will be held. Friends are invited to join the family for the interment service at the Strathclair Cemetery on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at 2:15 p.m. A time of sharing memories and fellowship will follow at the Strathclair Municipal Hall. If friends so desire donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
