Rod is survived by Theresa, his wife of 14 years, Brittney, his daughter and Cameron, his son. Rod is also survived by his mother, Grace Buhl; his sister Penny (Ron); his father-in-law and mother-in-law Richard and Delores Schulz; his sister-in-law, Sonja (Rick); brother-in-law Darren (Tammy); his nephews, Brenden, Graham, Kyle and Gavin; his nieces Marissa and Olivia. Rod was predeceased by his father, John Buhl. Rod was a hardworking, trustworthy and loyal employee. He was employed with Maple Leaf Foods (formerly Schneiders) from 1991-2008. He was a perfectionist who always strived for excellence no matter what he was doing. Most recently he was employed with Russel Metals. Rod married Theresa November 26, 1994. His daughter Brittney was born on November 24, 1996 and his son Cameron was born on August 7, 1998. Rod was a loving and attentive father who devoted much time to his family. He spent a lot of time playing games and drawing with his children. In recent years, he enjoyed taking winter vacations with his family in Mexico. Rod was someone who was dependable and someone the family could always count on. He was willing to help anyone at any time. Rod's illness was brief and he was taken from us far too soon, but we are grateful that he did not suffer long.
