TEENY KOWALSKI (nee HYKAWY) Teeny passed away peacefully on July 8, 2009, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Teeny was born January 11, 1928 in Meleb, Manitoba. Teeny will be sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, of 61 years, two nieces Krys and Donna, Auntie Ann, cousins Polly and Harry Ruskin, sister-in-law Elsie, brothers-in-law and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Mike and Bill. Teeny worked for 48 years at Raber Glove Mfg. She also was actively involved in making perogies for the church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care. Prayer service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at St Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 100 Yale Ave. E. Funeral service will be held Monday July 13, 2009, also at the Church. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery.
