HARVARD REGINBALD JOHNSON March 27, 1937 - July 9, 2009 Peacefully with family by his side, on July 9, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, Harvard Johnson aged 72 years of Ashern, MB. Harvard was born in Ashern, MB on March 27, 1937. Harvard spent time in the Air Force which took him to Prince Edward Island and Comox, BC. He then worked as a mechanic in Courtenay, BC and later moved to Gold River where he drove logging trucks. When he retired, he moved to Ashern where he lived in the family home with his loving partner Marlene. Over the years he enjoyed car rallies (Gym Cana), golfing, online trading and helping out with Marlene's magnificent garden. He also liked to spend time renovating his home in Ashern. His sister used to call him 'Mr. Fix It'. Harvard was predeceased by his first wife Tina (mother to his first son, Jeffrey) and his parents Reginbald and Sigrun. He is survived by his partner Marlene Priske; his sons, Jeffrey, Michael (Leanne) and Matthew (Lindsey) and their mother Gwen; brothers Byron, Steven (Linda) and a sister Svava; his grandchildren Cassidy and Connor along with many nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Ashern Centennial Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Ashern Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Johnson, Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Steven Johnson, Linden Davidson and Beau Johnson.
