SIGURLIN INGVELDUR ROBINSON (PAULSON) Suddenly at the Arborg and District Hospital on July 11, 2009 Mom passed away at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by our Dad Mardon in 1985, her parents Gudmundur and Ragneidur Paulson, brothers Vilberg and Oskar. She is survived by her children Herbert (Deborah), Kristinn (Freda), Ann (Marcel Sutyla), Gordon (Valerie) and Susan (Donald Smith); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, also by her brothers Julius (Rose), Paul (Emily), Sigrun, Sylvia (Jake) and sister-in-law Margaret. Mom was born and lived all her life in the Arborg area. Mom and Dad were married in 1948 and farmed on the Robinson homestead until Dad's passing. Mom enjoyed knitting, reading, game shows, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. In late 1980 Mom moved to the Sunrise Lodge and later to the Personal Care Home. Special thanks to the staff and her weekly Bingo Cards from Krystal. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Richard, Curtis, Jason, Nolan, Scott and Rodney. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ardal - Geysir Lutheran Church in Arborg with interment to follow in the Arborg Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arborg Personal Care Home Recreational Funds. Rest in Peace Mom. We Love You. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
