Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTINA (BETTY) JACOBUS (NEUFELD / WIEBE) March 11, 1925 to July 11, 2009 Passed away peacefully at Princess Court Long Term Care Home, with family by her side. Betty is survived by four children; Arthur Wiebe of Prince George, BC, Jane (Ray) Konig of Granisle, BC, Sherry (Ron) Ursel of Dryden, ON, and Beverly Wiebe nee Arseneault (whereabouts unknown), two siblings; Katarina Neufeld of Sask. and Minna Neufeld nee Bates of Vancouver, BC, 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandson. Betty was born in Grunthal, Manitoba, March 11, 1925, she was the tenth child of 17. She attended school in Red River Valley and married Abraham Wiebe at the age of 18 years. The family lived for a time in Steinbach, Manitoba, where all of the children were born. They relocated to Winnipeg in 1953. Throughout her lifetime Betty travelled extensively throughout Canada. She lived for many years in Prince George, BC and in her later years she moved back to Manitoba to live with her daughter, Sherry and husband Ron. She relocated to Dryden, Ontario, with Sherry and Ron in 2003. She moved to Princess Court Long Term Care in January 2006, and lived there until her death. The family would like to thank all of the staff and residents of Princess Court for their kindness and consideration.
