Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPIERRE PALUD After a lengthy illness, Pierre passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on July 12, 2009. He was born on May 24, 1949 in Morris, Manitoba. Pierre leaves to mourn his beloved wife and caregiver Shirley (née Magne), his sisters Thérèse Lavallée, Eveline (Fille de la Croix), Hélène Leahy (Mike), Gisèle Talbot (Yves), and his brother, Marcel, also his mother-in-law Louise Magne, his sister-in-law, Susanne Sedo (Bill), and his brother-in-law, Roger (Linda). He will be remembered dearly by his many nieces and nephews and by his numerous true friends. Pierre grew up in Aubigny, Manitoba. He later studied in Collège Universitaire Saint-Boniface and taught for 23 years, first in St. Claude, then in Ste. Anne. He worked with Educateurs Franco-Manitobain and served as president. He will be remembered for his sense of duty as well as for his sense of humor. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church, 289 Dussault Avenue, on Thursday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the care that was given to Pierre.
