JAMES WILLIAM WHITE Surrounded by loved ones, Jim passed away July 11, 2009, after a long, heroic battle with cancer. Never one to back down from anything, his bravery and determination persisted to the end. Left to celebrate his life are his devoted wife Dawn; four daughters: Ainslie Liboiron (Marc), and children Grace and Ava, Lindsey, Brittany and Kimberly; his sister Bev; and many friends and relatives who all loved him very much. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Jean and parents Margaret and Frank White. Jim was passionate about using his time, skills and talents to help those he loved. Since birth (June 23, 1952) Jim eagerly threw himself headfirst into any pursuit. His short lived skating career at Earl Gray School was followed by choir at Grant Park High School. He played hockey, music and was a boy scout at Harrow United Church. Jim also thoroughly enjoyed working at the farm, skiing, travelling and riding his motorcycle. His knowledge and influence impacted many lives. This was exemplified in his boy scout leadership and his work ethic at various places of employment. His interest in electronics led him to his first job. He was also in the grocery business for many years and involved with Amway, Group Telecom and Mailboxes Etc. where his independent leadership shone and he discovered his love of owning his own business, the UPS Store. Jim never complained and he never gave up. During almost two years of treatment, he did not miss a day of work at his store up to the last week. His love for life, passion for excellence and dedication to his family were indescribable. His spirit and courage have left an indelible impression on our lives that will not be forgotten. A memorial service in celebration of Jim's life will be held at St. Vital Evangelical Mennonite Church, 2005 St. Mary's Road, Thursday, July 16th, at 1:00 p.m. For online condolences go to www.mosaicfunerals.ca
