ELLIS LORNE (BUDDY) OLAFSON 1928 - 2009 On Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Buddy Olafson aged 80 years of Morden, MB, formerly of the 1-6 district, passed away peacefully. He is survived by his two sisters, Doreen and Bill Webber of Morden and Evelyne and Roy Holenski of Winnipeg and their families. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden with ash interment to follow at the 1-6 Icelandic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Buddy's memory to either the 1-6 Icelandic Community Hall or to the Pembina Parish (United Church).
