ARSENIO SANTOS MENDOZA December 26, 1946 July 13, 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband, father, papa, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and nephew, Arsenio at St. Boniface General Hospital on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the age of 62 years. Arsenio (Arsy) was born to Roberto and Sixta Mendoza on December 26, 1946. He was predeceased by his father in 1992. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife Priscila, sons Alex (Evelyn), Alvin (Celyne), Aldrin (Perla) and daughter Aileen (Leo). Papa Arsy Pachy will also be forever missed by his grandchildren, Evertson, Alexis, Axel, Kierra, Carissa, Kobe, Angel, Karen, Caelyn, Clark and Chanel. His memory will also be cherished by his sisters Ofelia (Pas) Decena, Cely (Ed) Poblete, Penny (Carl) Padilla, and brothers, Sonny (Amy) and Teddy (Elvie) of California, U.S.A. and numerous cousins, relatives and friends in Winnipeg. Arsy has been a very talented electrician almost all of his working life. He worked with Radiowealth, Singer and Electrosystem companies in the Philippines. He worked in Brunei for two years prior to that. After retirement, he went back to the Philippines for sometime before moving to Canada to join his youngest son in October 2007. Arsy's life has always been devoted to loving and supporting his family. He has found enormous joy in his grandchildren. Family and friends always turned to him when they had problems with their electrical appliances and they were never disappointed because he loved tinkering, repairing and improvising electronics with a passion. We would like to extend our special thanks to those friends and family that have shown so much support and outpouring of love during this time. Thank you to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services as well as the Doctors and Nurses of the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care of St. Boniface General Hospital who provided him with such excellent and caring service till the end. We would also like to thank Myra, the good neighbour who went with him in the ambulance that brought him to the hospital.
