Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAMILLO (TONY) BIASONE On July 12, 2009 at the E.M Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB, Tony Biasone aged 83 years of Lundar, MB. Tony was born in the small town of Ripa Teatina in the province of Chieti, Italy. He was the youngest of a family of eight, three sisters and four brothers. Tony came to Canada in 1949 following the war and settled in Winnipeg. He found work in a bakery and met his wife Mary. They married in 1954 and had five children. Through the years he worked as a baker and was a cook at bush camps. He relocated to Thompson in 1986, and when he retired, moved to Ashern for a few years. He then moved to Lundar until his passing. Tony enjoyed singing, playing the organ, playing bingo and VLT's. He was a frequent patron of the Lundar Hotel and a supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion. He also loved to cook for family and friends and spent his relaxing time sunbathing. He is survived by his children Vincent (Sandy) of Nova Scotia, Celeste (Oscar) of Brandon, Angela (John) of Winnipeg, Carol (Nelson) of Winnipeg and Camillo Jr. of Winnipeg, his older brothers Giuseppe (Stella) of Ottawa and Angela of Italy along with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Russo and Vincenzo Biasone. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Lundar Legion Hall with Cindy Thorkelson officiating. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Ashern, MB. The family wishes to thank the staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Cindy Thorkelson, Patsy Hartog, Marita and the Home Care staff as they know what a handful Tony sometimes could be.
