MARY TKACH (nee MATYCHUK) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Tkach on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Tache Centre at the age of 89 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son William (Jennifer), grandchildren Lance, Lisa, Jason (Tanya), Corey, Jenny-Lynn (Ryan) and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Nicholas and Kayson. Mary was predeceased by her husband William Tkach Sr. daughter Victoria Stolar, brothers Mike, Pete, Bill and John and sister Eileen. Prayers of the Parastas will be said on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Interment will follow at Thomson In the Park Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the 3rd floor staff at Tache Centre and the PANSU Unit at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Mary's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 109 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
