DR. KENNETH GERRARD LOEWEN In loving memory of Dr. Ken, who passed away peacefully in Ottawa, Ontario with his beloved wife and best friend, Lorrie at his side, under the care of his Buddhist spiritual guide Kelsang Oden and the wonderful staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Dear son of Anne and the late Jacob Loewen, brother to Judy Loewen and Maureen Lamboo (nee Loewen), brother-in-law to Joe Lamboo, uncle to Heather and Melissa and beloved nephew of Auntie Tina, Auntie Eileen, Uncle George and Aunt Trudy and cousin to Cathy. Dr. Ken coped courageously with a lengthy disabling illness and all the while continued to spread love, share knowledge and celebrate life. Friends are invited to bring a favourite memory of Dr. Ken to share at the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, at Furby, Winnipeg, MB, 204-783-7211, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2009.
