KATIE JUBA Katie Juba, 107 years, was called to eternal rest peacefully on July 7, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Mike Kalyn, husband Mike, children, infants Olga and Anna, Alex, Joe and Olga. Surviving children are Matt (Agnes), Eleanor, Pete, Bill (Rose) and Michelle, and brothers Stan (Pauline) and Peter. Mother was very spiritual, musically talented, and an ardent reader who was committed to hard work and family, enjoyed gardening, sewing and had a keen interest in current affairs. Born in Ukraine, she came to Canada in 1905 and six years ago she took up residence in Holy Family Nursing Home. We extend our sincere appreciation to Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate, Father Lukie, Dr. Babick, staff at Holy Family, Fr. Mike Tkatchuk and to Michelle's boyfriend, Brian, and girlfriend Donna, for their love and support especially during Mother's final days. May God bless you all. Divine Liturgy was celebrated and Mother was laid to rest in Angusville, MB. Vichnaya Pamyat!!
