MICHAEL (MIKE) TOKER December 23, 1917 July 12, 2009 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Mike Toker, at the age of 91 years, of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Pinawa Hospital. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carrie; daughter Diane (Stanley), two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren; son Roland (Linda), three grandsons and five great-grandchildren; step-daughters Pat, Carol, Maryann, Brenda and their families; sister Pauline (Willy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mike was predeceased by his parents Helen and Bonifate, his first wife Mary, his brother Steve, and his grandson Darcy. Being an avid gardener, Mike spent many hours proudly caring for the flowers of their picturesque yard which won him many praises from passersby. Mike's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in The Pioneer Club of Lac du Bonnet, 32 Park Avenue, Lac du Bonnet, MB, with Mr. Richard Farquhar officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Mike Toker's name to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, or a charity of one's choice.
