Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAT DODDS (nee KARWACKI) Peacefully, Pat Dodds passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on July 21, 2009. Pat grew up in Winnipeg, graduated from Windsor Park Collegiate in 1971 and from the University of Manitoba School of Nursing in 1976. She spent many years living in the Caribbean and on the West Coast of Canada before returning to Winnipeg with her family in 1997. Pat was a kind and gentle person who touched the hearts of many. She had an inquiring mind and an open heart. She recognized the beauty in everyone and in everything, and took special pleasure in exploring art and nature. Pat was devoted to her family and conscientious in her work, ever willing to contribute her share with grace and humility. Pat is lovingly remembered by her daughter Kaylee, her son Glenn, her husband Cam, her parents Wanda and Stan Karwacki, her sister Marlene Zyluk, her brother Dennis Karwacki, and by her extended family, friends and co-workers. Burial will take place on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Brookside Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of Pat's life following at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (directly across from Brookside Cemetery). Pat was an extraordinary person who could be friend to anyone.She and I along with my husband Rob kept the coffee house alive at the Baha'i Centre for many years.She was very devoted and never missed one,even when she felt ill. She always talked about her children,how proud she was of them and their accomplishments.
