Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEILA MARY COOK Leila Mary Cook (Fraser) passed away at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Leila was born June 25, 1917 in Franklin, MB and grew up in the Neepawa area. She worked in Neepawa and Winnipeg and was married to Bill Cook in 1950. They moved to the Montreal area in 1955 where she worked for CIBC prior to retirement in Hudson, QB. In 2006 Leila moved to Regina to live in the Renaissance Retirement Residence. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill; sister Rebe Anderson; and brothers-in-law Alvin Anderson, Robert Cook, Douglas Cook and Hugh Cook. Leila is survived by her loving stepdaughter Wendy (Jim) Holmes of Fort Qu'Appelle, SK and stepson Robert Cook of Winnipeg, MB; granddaughters Susan (Miles) Dyck and Kelly (Aaron) Homes-Binns all of Regina; great-grandchildren Darien, Mason, Chloe and Ava. Leila is also survived by brothers Wilford Fraser of Longwood, FL and Bill (Viona) Fraser of Franklin, MB and their loving children and grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her in-laws Beth Cook and Ken (Jean) Cook of Winnipeg, MB, Jack (Bea) Cook of Ottawa; and many loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves many dear friends of the Whitlock Golf Club, the Whitlock Ladies Bridge Club of Hudson, QB and the Renaissance Retirement Residence of Regina. A Service to Celebrate Liela's life will be held at Whites Funeral Home, Neepawa, MB on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. (Manitoba time).
