WALTER EDWARD KNUTE On Tuesday July 21, 2009, Walter, at the age of 81 years, beloved husband of Glennis, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn two daughters, Bonnie and Diane, his brother Fred and sister Thelma Schultz, nephews, a niece, and sister-in-law Ella Walter. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Emilie. Born in the municipality of Franklin near Emerson, Walter and Glennis (nee Walter) were married 51 years, and lived in Winnipeg until 1976 when they moved to Morris. Walter farmed a lifetime. He worked at the C.P. Express for 24 years while always accepting extra jobs and lending an extra hand. He was musically talented, and in harmony with nature. A strong and determined, generous and genuine, and devoted and caring man. The funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Morris on Saturday July 25 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Norris Nordin officiating. Interment in the Morris Cemetery.
