WALDO VALDES On July 22, 2009 at the age of 59, after an 11 month courageous battle with cancer, Waldo was called to be with his loving mother Maria, along with his Lord and Saviour. Remaining to forever cherish Waldo's memory is his soul mate of 28 years, love of his life, Odette, who was with him throughout his entire battle; his daughter Paola who was his inspiration throughout this difficult time; and his brother Victor who was by his bedside to give his beloved brother strength in his final days. Waldo will also be deeply missed by step- daughter Odette Jr.; his two beautiful grandchildren Julianna and Gabriella, niece Karina, nephew Rodrigo, step son Jano, best friend Victor, dear family friend James, dearest friends and extended family. His bravery and strength brought security and tranquility to all who loved him. We will continue to greatly admire his ability to make us laugh through this difficult time and for his ability to find positivity in any situation. Papito mio, viejito mio te vamos a extranar todo los dias. Sabemos que estas descansando tranquilo pero siempre vas a estar en nuestros corazones. Te amamos con todo el Corazon y esperaremos tu cafecito cada manana. A memorial mass will be held on Monday July 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford street.
