Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINA HUMBERGER Peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2009, at Concordia Hospital at the age of 87, Carolina passed away after a courageous battle with lung and kidney cancer, compounded by congestive heart failure. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2000, and son Richard in 2004. Left to cherish her memory are those she loved and cherished most, her family, Ron and Shirley (Cheryl and Larry with Fallon and Logan), Dean and Wendy, Connie and Maxine, favorite niece Melita, who surprised and thrilled her with a visit from Vancouver just one week before her death, nephews Leslie, Terry and George and their families. Thanks to all her friends who loved and supported her these past years, especially Ron and Iris Carlisle, with whom Mom had a very special bond. Also, thanks to Concordia Emergency and N1South staff, especially Sandy, Amanda, Margaret and Catherine for their care and compassion. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. She was simply the best!
