Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN KLASSEN October 27, 1922 July 20, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on July 20, 2009 at Eastview Place, in Altona, Manitoba, at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Edith (nee Peter); one son Ron Klassen, and one daughter Karen Loeppky; two grandchildren, Amber (John) West and Dustin (Yui) Loeppky; two brothers, Died and Peter Klassen and one sister Anne Winter. John and Edith proudly owned and operated Klassen's Furniture and Upholstery in Altona for many years. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2:00 p.m. at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Altona, Manitoba, with Dr. Lesley Calder officiating. Interment will take place in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be held Saturday and Sunday at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
