GRANT GERALD RICHARDS November 30, 1961 - July 22, 2009 Our beloved brother Grant passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. He is predeceased by his mother Alphonsine (Elsie) Olson and his father Joseph Walter Richards. Grant will be greatly missed by his surviving siblings, Linda (Doug) Schatkowsky, Patricia Olson and children, Harold (Monica) Olson, Frances Richards, Eric Richards (Penny Young) and Alson Richards. He will also be missed by nephews and niece Clinton (Janet) Olson, Clayton Olson, Daniel Olson, Daryl Olson and Kendall Young plus his great-nephews and niece. Grant was a stepfather and mentor to Dale Boudreau. Grant also leaves behind his loyal and loving dog, Fluffy. A memorial service will be held at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Karen Lamley officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frances Richards and Harold Olson. In lieu of flowers a memorial donations can be made to the following, Canadian Diabetes Foundation of Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A special thank you one and all for your love and support for Grant and Family.
