ROBBIN ARNOLD FROESE On July 21, 2009 a shining star left us to ride the heavens on his Harley. Robbin Arnold Froese fought a good fight and won in the end, finding peace. Robbin was born on November 18, 1957, in Estevan, SK. His dad worked in the oil patch, which gave Robbin the chance to live in many places growing up, from BC to ON. He finished school in Petrolia, ON. Robbin's love of music led him down many musical roads, beginning with the New Dawn Singers and later, he played in many rock bands including Shake Down, Hypno GoGo, The Unitz, Trouble with Guns, The Wait and finally, the Chocolate Bunnies From Hell. Robbin's artistic talent and imagination led him to the field of carpentry, where, with his concept of one-step garage and his motto of good service at a fair price, he formed Garage Guys which enjoyed great success. Robbin's need for speed and his love of Harleys and snowmobiles gave him great times and lifelong friends. His wife and boys, his bull dogs Arnie and Daisy, his cats Sasha and Spookie, and riding with the Thursday Nite Riders and racing were the joy of his life. His Harley-themed wedding in 2007 was a memorable event, and the bike ride was repeated to celebrate their first anniversary the following year. Robbin leaves special memories for his wife Angie, his two sons Elijah and Dakota, Angie's mom Carol and her fiancé Joe, Angie's brother Bill and his financée Pam. He also leaves his parents, Arnold and Gail Froese with great times and memories. Robbin will be missed by his sisters, Judy (Wilf) Burgstaler of Dryden, ON and Barbara (Joe) Zieger of Regina, SK; his brother Murray (TL) of Moose Jaw, SK along with his two best friends Ramona and Roger; his TNR buddies and his many friends in the business. He'll also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Robbin was predeceased by his grandparents Abe and Ada Froese, Gladys and Ed Ryder and two uncles, Ted and Morley Ryder. Robbin strived for perfection and had a fair and happy spirit which will always live on in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the E. Berard-Froese Trust Fund at the Cambrian Credit Union, Southdale Branch, 190-115 Vermillion Road, Winnipeg, MB R2J 4A9. In keeping with Robbin's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Birds Hill Park, Area 2, Site 1.
