MARLENE HARDING On Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Health Sciences Centre, our beautiful mother, formerly of Oak Point, Manitoba, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. She leaves behind her loving husband, Fred Harding; their dog PJ; their three children Bonnie, Janet, Dean; her siblings Wayne, Mark, Donna and Brent; her grandchildren Shawn, Robert, Brittany, Brooke, Kara, Uziel-Zeke and great-grandson Eric; as well as her uncle Bert who was like a father to her. Marlene was a one of a kind person; we will miss her for her great sense of humour, signature laugh, her exaggerated facial expressions, her one footed jig and hearing her stories and silly jokes. She was the kind of person who was full of surprises, who had a love for horses and gardening. She was a proud woman who was family oriented. Marlene had tough skin and a soft heart. If our love and tears could have saved you Mom, you would still be here with us. Grandma K will be waiting for you with open arms. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main Street, Stonewall. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
