LAURITZ (LAURIE) ERNEST GRATTAN Suddenly on Friday, July 24, 2009, Laurie Grattan, at the age of 62, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Laurie's memory are Doreen, his longtime companion of 28 years; his son Kevin; his mother Lillian; brothers Rick, Everett, Danny and sister Elaine. He was predeceased by his father, Everett and nephew, David. He was born on July 21, 1947 in Fredericton, N.B., but spent the latter part of his life in Winnipeg. Laurie was a great friend to all who knew him and will be sorely missed. In compliance with Laurie's wishes a private memorial service will be held at a later date, and interment will be held in Tabusintac, N.B. Special thanks to Winnipeg Paramedics and the Winnipeg Fire Department for their immediate response and excellent care.
