M. JOYCE MITCHELL December 3, 1925 July 30, 2009 Joyce Mitchell passed away in Winnipeg on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at 2:20 a.m. with her family at her bedside. Remaining to cherish her memory are her five children, Sharon Mitchell of Calgary, AB, Sheila Mitchell of Nelson, BC, Robert Mitchell (Helen) of Thompson, MB, Richard Mitchell (Cindy) of Winnipeg, MB and Laurel Mitchell of Toronto, ON; Shirley's son Kenneth Hoglander (Resi); brother Dick (Carmen) Ross, Barry Ross of Barrie, BC; sister Pat Ross of Edmonton, AB as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins Carol (Lanny) and Raymond (Jane) Olson of Saskatoon and grandchildren Terry, Misty and Jasmine and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon R. Mitchell in February 2007; sister Shirley Ross in April 2009 and her parents Ed and Isabel Ross and aunt Dodi Olson. All will miss her radiant smile, her fabulous hugs and positive attitude. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Flin Flon, Manitoba in St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church.
