NORA DOROTHY PEACHEY WARD 1914 - 2009 It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of Nora on July 23, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her first husband Ralph Peachey, second husband Marc Ward and grandson Craig Kent. Nora will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Bob (Joan) Peachey, and Lynn (Gary) Kent as well as five grandchildren, Todd (Jan), Greg (Cindy) and Jay (Jan) Peachey, Jill and Jeff Kent, and five great-granddaughters, Emma, Claire, Ashley, Jenna and Shaelyn. Nora was born in Truax, SK, but grew up in Briercrest, where she married her high school sweetheart Ralph Peachey. They moved to Ochre River, MB where they raised their family and lived until Ralph's sudden death in their 25th year of marriage. After Ralph's death she trained as an LPN in Winnipeg and later moved to Vancouver, where she worked in St. Paul's Hospital until she met and married Marc Ward. She was married to Marc for 26 years and resided in Gibsons, BC. Following Marc's death, she returned to Winnipeg to be near her daughter. Nora was a special person who touched the lives of many. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for their kindness, love and support. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
