STELLA MICHALUK 1924 2009 Passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on June 28, 2009 at Concordia Place Nursing Home. Stella was predeceased by her husband Bill, son Richard, her parents Tony and Katie Harasymchuk of Inwood, MB, sisters Mary, Helen and Anne and recently by her brother Walter. Stella will be sadly missed by son Ron and family, Lynda, daughters Brittany, Melissa, Sara, grandson Riley of Winnipeg, brother Frank and family of Stroud, ON, son Lawrence of BC, and several family members and friends. Stella was born in Inwood, MB on April 4, 1924 and grew up on the family farm. She was hardworking, independent and a well respected lady. She loved to go for car trips and often travelled to many parts of the country with family and on her own. Stella loved gardening and flowers. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Place Nursing Home for the excellent and compassionate care provided to her throughout her stay there. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place with a brief ceremony on August 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. We will miss you. Rest in Peace. 586-8044
