PHILLIP HAROLD LUTZ August 14, 1930 - July 27, 2009 Harold passed away peacefully on July 27, 2009 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB with his sister Marlene and cousin Alison at his side. Harold was born in Winnipeg on August 14, 1930. He farmed and lived in the Dog Lake District all his life. He began farming in 1953 and retired in 1991. Harold leaves to mourn his passing his sister Marlene of Ashern, MB; brothers Clarence (Gertie) of Ste. Anne, MB , Donald (Connie) of Winnipeg and sister-in-law Thelma of Winnipeg along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and his furry pets whom he loved dearly. Harold was predeceased by his parents Peter and Elizabeth Lutz, brother Arthur and sister Kathleen Hawkins and his brother-in-law Harold Hawkins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A luncheon will follow in the Camper Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dog Lake Cemetery, care of Chummy Zacharias, Box 142, Ashern MB, R0C 0E0.
