JOSHUA RICHARD CRAIG OLYNYK Joshua Richard Craig Olynyk, in his 25th year, took his last breath at his home in Guelph, in the loving arms of his family after a valiant and tenacious seven month battle with cancer. Josh beat cancer at age 16 only to be faced with this second sarcoma this past year. Josh is an inspiration to all who knew him and even those who don't. Josh has changed lives with his positive attitude and grace. Josh will be remembered for his amazing smile, sense of humour and kind heart. He also was a talented welder and athlete and enjoyed working on his truck. Josh loved his life and died with no regrets. He never hated anyone. He leaves to mourn his parents Craig and Lucia, his older brother Craig Jr. (Alyssa), his younger sister Lauren, and his grandparents Gerry and Greta Koreman of Cooks Creek, MB and Matt and Lorraine Olynyk of Winnipeg. He is also survived by uncles and aunts; Jim Olynyk (Sandra), Hank Koreman (Danica), Frank Koreman (Karen), Renee Heuring (Greg), Gerry Koreman (Fern), Patrick Koreman, Diane Gibson (John) and Margaret Johnson (Steve). He will be missed by his cousins Brad, Alyssa, Jordan, Travis, Austin, Jasmine, Steven, Seth and Brynn. He has many friends he is leaving behind. He will also be missed by his two feline friends Foggy and Kint. In his death as in his birth, Josh was surrounded by the love of his parents and family. He is fishing in heaven now. Rest in Peace sweet Josh. Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tannahill Funeral Home (Owen Sound, Ontario 519-376-3710). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Wednesday, August 5 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. A celebration of his life will take place in St. Mary's Hall immediately following the mass. Donations can be made to Owen Sound Minor Hockey Josh Olynyk Fund.
