Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCUS STEPHENS It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marcus Stephens on July 29, 2009, after a brief bout with cancer. Marcus was born in Phenix City, Alabama on January 5, 1942. After serving in the United States Air Force, Marcus relocated to Canada, where he met and married the love of his life , Millie in 1965. He passionately enjoyed his career as a chef after completing studies at Red River Community College. Marcus leaves to cherish and remember him with love, his wife, Millie, son Michael (Karen), grandsons, Marcus and Aaron, sister Jewell (Winston), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. To celebrate Marcus' memory, a luncheon is being held on Tuesday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital, 5th floor, Unit 5. Cyndi, Candace and Kurt, your caring and sensitivity are a credit to your profession.
