LILLIAN LACHANCE (nee COATES) Peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2009 Lillian passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Lillian was born in Morris, Manitoba to Fred and Christine Coates and will be lovingly missed by her sons Lorne (Georgette) and Bob (Pamela); grandchildren Lori (Mike) Wlock, Cheryl, Layla, Parker; great-grandchildren Nathan, Teaghan, and Jenna; brothers Howard, Clifford (Annette) and Harold (Nancy); sisters Evelyn (Bob) and Shelegh as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leo, brother Richard and his wife Irene. Lillian worked out of her home for many years as a hair dresser. She and Leo enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Sandy Hook entertaining family and friends. Mom was in her glory any time her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were around. She will be sadly missed by all. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at 4A south St. Boniface Hospital and staff on the 2nd floor at Park Manor Personal Care Home for their kindness and care during her stay with them. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
