EVELYN ALICE EMILY THOMSON Peacefully on August 2, 2009 at Charleswood Care Centre, Evelyn Alice Emily Thomson passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Johnny, and siblings Jack, Betty, Norm, and Robert. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Eileen Blackmore, Brenda (Garry) Schlag and Jan Nenis, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are sisters Doreen and Sylvia, brothers Harvey and Gord, and many other relatives and close friends. Evelyn was a special person who touched the lives of many. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Evelyn was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 16, 1923 and moved to Winnipeg in 1967. Special thanks to the caring staff at Charleswood Care Centre for their kindness, love and support. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB.
