PAMELA HEATHER MILLER (nee MILJURE) July 3, 1965 July 31, 2009 After a long and ever so courageous battle with cancer it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Heather Miller. Pam was born in Portage La Prairie, MB and lived all her short life in Winnipeg, MB. She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her husband Glen Miller; children Sabrina, Matthew and Amanda (Mandy), her parents Shirley and Sidney Miljure, her sister Joan (Clarence) and brother Dean (Joann), the Miljure Family and the Miller Family, her sister by heart, Shauna Schamp and her close friends Diane Gauthier and Debbie Ritchot; as well as many aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and family of friends. Pam was predeceased by her grandparents on both sides of her family and by her close friend Debbie Friesen. Pam enjoyed living life to the fullest and always made every moment count. One of her most cherished moments that was spent with her Father was when Pam tried her hand at sheep shearing on the farm and laughing as she was covered in lanolin, ironically enough she was a hairdresser by trade at that time and thought that it would be a simple task. She also enjoyed the countless hours they spent searching for her first car. Pam always made a lasting impression on every life she touched, so much so that she is embedded in all of our hearts for eternity. Pam's favourite time of year was summer where she enjoyed her kiddie pool, fires and making countless memories with her close friends. Pam especially loved to spend time with her soulmate/love of her life, her husband Glen and some of her most cherished memories were their trips to hot destinations in the winter time enjoying the heat and just being together. Pam also enjoyed her special times spent with her children and was the best Mom anyone could ask for. Pam was also a very dedicated employee at Park Pontiac for many years where she took great pride in the work she did. Pam also enjoyed the end of her work days as she looked forward to getting home to take her dog Daisy for walks at the dog park. Pam's smile and cheer, her great spirit and beautiful singing as well as many other great attributes will be sadly missed by all who knew her! Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at CancerCare, Concordia Hospital and Riverview for their exemplary care and to Susan Reesor for helping the family through this difficult time. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Grace Chapel Assembly, 19 Berrydale Avenue, Winnipeg, MB at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's memory to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 1160 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Arrangements entrusted to Ronald Moffit Memorial Services, Portage la Prairie, MB. (204-856-3487).
